The Best Greetings In Indonesia Language

AseanTips - Howdy.. apa kabar? 🙂, Here I will share some greetings which usually used in Indonesia language. As we know, In Indonesia every word is pronounced by itself. its different with English language. For example: ‘how are you’ is pronounced by ‘Haw ar yuw’. but in Indonesia ‘Apa kabar’ is still pronounced by ‘apa kabar’. OK.. Lets check it out 🙂

hai : hi
halo : hello
Apa kabar? : how are you
bagaimana kabarmu/keadaanmu? : how are you
kabarku baik-baik saja : Im fine, or
keadaanku lumayan baik : im fine
saya sedang tidak enak badan : my body is not so well
saya lagi sakit : im sick
selamat pagi : good morning
selamat siang : good afternoon
selamat sore : good evening (around 3pm up to 6pm)
selamat malam : good evening (around 6pm up to 11pm)
selamat tidur : good night (going to sleep)
saya senang berkenalan denganmu : nice to meet you
sampai jumpa : see you!
sampai jumpa besok : see you tomorrow
sampai jumpa lain waktu : see you later
selamat tinggal : good bye
selamat atas keberhasilan anda : congratulation for your success
terima kasih : thanks
terimakasih banyak : thank you very much
selamat bersenang-senang : have fun!
semoga sukses : good luck
semoga harimu menyenangkan : wish you have a great day

Adverb of Time Generally Used In Bahasa Indonesia

In this opportunity i will share you about adverb of time which used in bahasa Indonesia. here i will tell you that in bahasa Indonesia there is no Tenses like in English. it can be said that by understanding  the adverb of time in bahasa Indonesia is enough for beginner who want to learn bahasa Indonesia. OK, lets check it out..!!

Some adverb of time in Bahasa Indonesia..
sekarang : now
pada saat ini : now
kemarin : yesterday
besok : tomorrow
lusa : the day after tomorrow
pagi ini : this morning
tadi malam : last night
kemarin pagi : yesterday morning
dua hari yang lalu : two days ago
empat hari yang lalu : four days ago
seminggu yang lalu : last week
dua minggu yang lewat : two weeks ago
tahun kemarin : last year
dua tahun yang lewat : two years ago
minggu : Sunday
senin : Monday
selasa : Tuesday
rabu : Wednesday
kamis : Thursday
jum’at : Friday
sabtu : Saturday
pagi : morning
siang : afternoon (around 12pm-3pm)
sore : evening (around 4pm-6pm)
malam : evening
selasa malam : tuesday night
jum’at pagi : friday morning
minggu sore : sunday evening
after knowing the adverb of time, u can use it directly in your sentence, for example :
saya makan ikan kemarin : I ate fish yesterday
saya makan ikan sekarang : im eating fish now
saya makan ikan besok : i will eat fish tomorrow
saya makan ikan tadi pagi : i eat fish this morning.
OK, thats all… It’s easy and simple. Now, you can try to speak this with your indonesian friends. 🙂
